Help For Ukrainian Refugees In Romania

This is an Urgent Appeal to all our supporters, their families and friends. We are sure you have all seen the atrocities currently taking place in Ukraine and feel sick to the stomach as we watch the news and see what is happening to the people. While politicians and leaders try to stop this senseless killing of innocent men, women and children, we feel utterly useless but cannot sit idly by and just watch. The number of refugees fleeing over the border into Poland, Hungary and Romania is huge. Many are coming to Bistrita in Romania, which is the home of Happys, our shelter.

The team out at Happys are seeing more and more refugees and their pets flooding into the town along with NATO troops. Its all getting very scary indeed. However, we need to do whatever we can to help and support these Ukrainian people as their need is huge.

So today, we are pleading for donations from You, our supporters, so that our team on the ground in Bistrita (Eli and Doina) can get to the wholesalers to buy the essential items for mainly women, children, and their pets. We have a good friend who travels to the border every few days taking with her much needed aid and bringing refugee families to safety. We can guarantee that every penny you send will go directly to the people who need it most. We will supply pictures, receipts and evidence of where your money is going.
