Description:

Lola and her four siblings were found with their mum, Lucy, struggling to survive the harsh Romanian winter.  Lucy was doing her best to care for them, but thankfully they were found in time and were taken to the safety of Happys. Lola doesn’t have a tail, just a little stubbie.

Sweet Lola is such a gentle, sensitive soul who will need someone special to love her. Once you meet her, we promise she will win your heart. Lola is the shyest of the litter and will sit and watch whilst the others come forward for a fuss. However, once you have won her trust, her personality will change; she loves to be groomed and will come up for attention and melt you with her beautiful soulful eyes. Lola walks nicely on a lead but will get her confidence from another calm, friendly dog.

We are looking for an adult-only home with another calm, friendly dog to help her gain confidence. She will need a rural home with a nice secure garden and lawn. Lolas will need a room in the house, which can be her safe space, to stay in if things get too much for her. Walks from the doorstep would be just great. A farm or smallholding would be perfect, but we know that’s a huge ask.

Lola has a lovely calm, gentle nature and just needs someone that will give her love and allow her the time and space to blossom, and when she does, we promise your heart will melt.

Thank you for your interest in Lola if you would like to apply to adopt one of our dogs, please read the ‘How do I Adopt’ pages, where you can find more information about the process and the costs involved.

As you can imagine, each one of our dogs is very precious to us, they haven’t had the best start in life, and therefore, it is absolutely crucial we find the right homes for them.  When you complete a registration form, please tell us as much as you can about why you are looking to adopt a dog and how you think you can meet their needs.  Every dog is an individual, and our amazing rehoming team will know exactly what type of home each dog needs to thrive.  For example, will the dog cope with a small garden, or is it the type of dog who needs to live in a rural environment?  Will the dog enjoy being around children, or is it best suited to an adult only home?  Will it cope with sharing a home with other pets, or is it best as an only dog?  Are you outdoorsy types who like to go hiking, or would you prefer a dog who is happy to snuggle up on the sofa with you?  Our rehoming team will be very familiar with the needs of each of our dogs, and the information you provide on your application form will help them to match you with the right dog.
