Description:
As our vet, Denisa left her apartment she was welcomed by a little pup called Amos. He was scared and alone. Denisa called to him and he run straight to her. She picked him up in her arms and drove him to her clinic. Once at the clinic he was checked over and put with little Annie who was found the day before in roughly the same place.
A few days before, whilst Denisa was leaving home she noticed an adult female dog watching her. She called to her but she wouldn’t come so she left food and went to work. We found out that a message for help went out on Facebook saying that a puppy had been seen first with his mum then all alone, the lady who put out the message was going to work and couldn’t help. The picture she took is of little Amos and the adult the same female Denisa saw a few days ago watching her.
Mum (Jessie) and the three other siblings were found and bought to Happy’s and Chester was one of these siblings! So brave of Jessie to put herself out there and find help for her puppies
Thankfully because of the love of his mum, Chester, is now snuggled up in the warm in a foster home in the UK. He is house trained, walks well on the lead, and walks regularly with other dogs and is great. Chester lives with a couple of other dogs and cats. He’s a gorgeous boy who loves cuddles and being by your side. He has had some training but would benefit from more but he is a quick learner.. He isn’t a chewer. He’s a big bouncy boy with a lot of love to give.
He will need a nice secure garden with lawn and direct access to the house. He would prefer a home with another friendly dog to play with, as he doesn’t settle well on his own but again this could be worked on.
He has been away on holiday to the beach. He currently lives in a rural home, so we are looking for the same. Meeting male dogs he doesn’t know can sometimes be a problem at the moment but his foster mum is working on it. He loves to lay in puddles and enjoys being groomed.
Thank you for your interest in Chester. If you would like to apply to adopt one of our dogs, please read the ‘How do I Adopt’ pages, where you can find more information about the process and the costs involved.
As you can imagine, each one of our dogs is very precious to us, they haven’t had the best start in life and therefore it is absolutely crucial we find the right homes for them. When you complete a registration form, please tell us as much as you can about why you are looking to adopt a dog and how you think you can meet their needs. Every dog is an individual and our amazing rehoming team will know exactly what type of home each dog needs to thrive. For example, will the dog cope with a small garden or is it the type of dog who needs to live in a rural environment? Will the dog enjoy being around children, or is it best suited to an adult only home? Will it cope sharing a home with other pets, or is it best as an only dog? Are you outdoorsy types who like to go hiking, or would you prefer a dog who is happy to snuggle up on the sofa with you? Our rehoming team will be very familiar with the needs of each of our dogs and the information you provide on your application form will help them to match you with the right dog.
