Kimmie was rescued from a derelict building with her two young pups. Brave Kimmie approached and led her rescuers straight to her puppies, deep within a dark derelict house. In amongst the rubbish and rubble two tiny gems lay waiting for food. They were brought to our vet to be checked over and were then driven to Happys to rest and recover.

Kimmie and her pups are doing well, her boys thanks to brave Kimmie are growing and healthy. Once Her boys are old enough Kimmie will be neutered and ready to find a loving home. Kimmie is still being assessed and hasn’t been out into the yard to mix with the other dogs yet due to her pups being too young. She is quite a nervous girl but very sweet and gentle

As you can imagine, each one of our dogs is very precious to us, they haven’t had the best start in life and therefore it is absolutely crucial we find the right homes for them. Will the dog enjoy being around children, or is it best suited to an adult only home? Will it cope sharing a home with other pets, or is it best as an only dog? Are you outdoorsy types who like to go hiking, or would you prefer a dog who is happy to snuggle up on the sofa with you? Our rehoming team will be very familiar with the needs of each of our dogs and the information you provide on your application form will help them to match you with the right dog.
