Description:

Harley (Cassie) made the long journey from our shelter in Romania, Happy’s, to the UK in 2022, finally finding what we believed would be her forever home. For three years, she lived as a family member, knowing the warmth of a home and the comfort of belonging. But now, through no fault of her own, her world is about to be turned upside down. Her family has decided to return her to the rescue, leaving her once again searching for a place to call home. Harley deserves so much more than this heartbreak. She’s a beautiful, loving soul who just wants stability, kindness, and someone to love her unconditionally. Could you be the one to give her the forever home she’s been waiting for?

Harley is a breathtakingly beautiful girl with a heart full of love—just waiting for the right home where she can truly flourish. She’s kind, sweet and eager for affection, but she needs a calm, experienced home in a rural or semi-rural setting where she can finally decompress. Her previous home in a busier suburban area was overwhelming for her, and she thrives best in a peaceful environment with a secure garden where she can feel safe and relaxed.

Harley would enjoy the companionship of a calm, friendly dog to help her feel at ease, but she could also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love and attention as the only pet in the home. While she can be nervous around new dogs and will often choose to avoid them, she warms up beautifully to people with a gentle approach. With a little patience, you’ll see her confidence grow, and before long, she’ll be rolling over for tummy rubs and soaking up every bit of affection you can give. She’s already house-trained, walks beautifully on the lead, has excellent recall, settles well when left for a few hours, and sleeps soundly through the night. She hasn’t lived with cats, so a cat-free home would be best.

Harley is looking for someone who will give her the time, patience, and love she deserves. In return, she’ll be the most devoted companion, filling your life with warmth, loyalty, and endless love. Could you be the one to give Harley her happily ever after?

Thank you for your interest in Harley. If you would like to apply to adopt one of our dogs, please read the ‘How do I Adopt’ pages, where you can find more information about the process and the costs involved.

As you can imagine, each one of our dogs is very precious to us. They haven’t had the best start in life, and therefore, it is absolutely crucial we find the right homes for them.  When you complete a registration form, please tell us as much as you can about why you are looking to adopt a dog and how you think you can meet their needs.  Every dog is an individual, and our amazing rehoming team will know exactly what type of home each dog needs to thrive.  For example, will the dog cope with a small garden or is it the type of dog who needs to live in a rural environment?  Will the dog enjoy being around children, or is it best suited to an adult only home?  Will it cope with sharing a home with other pets, or is it best as an only dog?  Are you outdoorsy types who like to go hiking, or would you prefer a dog who is happy to snuggle up on the sofa with you?  Our rehoming team will be very familiar with the needs of each of our dogs, and the information you provide on your application form will help them to match you with the right dog.

We’d love to chat…
